Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Review and Swatches!

This is my review and swatches of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette!

I have had this palette for 18 months so I have had a lot of time to play around with it and I love it. It does cost $54 so it's real expensive, but I got this as a gift so it didn't seem that bad to me even though it was crazy expensive. Honestly I'm not really sure if it is worth that much because the shadows aren't as pigmented as say the Tarte Showstopper palette, which I also did a review and swatches post for, and that palette was only $40 on the Tarte website, and it was super pigmented! I do really like these rosy and bronzy shades and they have mostly good pigmentation, but I just was expecting more pigmentation from this palette since it was so expensive. Let's get into the swatches!

From right to left these shades are, Strange, Dust, Burnout, and Limit. I love Strange because it is a really good brow bone highlight because it isn't shimmery, and as you can see this one is pretty pigmented. Dust is one that barely has any pigmentation. When I swatched it on my arm, I went over it several times and this was as good as I could get it. I do sometimes use it over Strange in the inner corner of my eye, just to add a little shimmer and it's ok but I wish It was better. Burnout is one I used a lot when I first got it because it was a color I was used to and I still really like it, but I don't use it as much and the pigmentation is ok. Limit is one of my favorite shadows in this palette. I love to use it all over my lid with Nooner in the crease if I don't want any shimmer on the lid.

From right to left these shades are Buzz, Trick, Nooner, and Liar. Buzz is actually pretty pigmented but I don't use it as much as I thought I would, so I would like to start using it more. Trick is a really pretty gold with hints of pink mixed in and I really like it, but I feel like it is more of a summer and fall shade so I haven't used it much recently. Nooner is probably my favorite shadow in the whole palette, and it may not look that special, but it is the perfect crease color for any pink based eye look. Liar I have barely used at all, but after swatching it, I think it would be amazing all over the lid, and I really want to start using it.

From right to left these shades are Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, and Blackheart. Factory is one of the most pigmented, and I really should use it more. Mugshot is like a taupe and gold mix, and I think this would look pretty on the outer half of the lid. Darkside is really interesting because it swatches completely different than what it looks like in the palette, which after seeing it swatched, I think I could really like it, because it looks really bronzy swatched as  opposed to in the pan where it looks more grey. Blackheart is a really dark brown with glitter, and this would be really good for liner, if you didn't want to use an eyeliner pencil. It is also extremely pigmented.

Overall this palette is really good even though it is really expensive and not all of the shades are as pigmented as they should be for the price, I still like it. If you want to see it on the website, click the link below.
